Who We Are

Bright Point is a residential general contractor specializing in kitchen remodels in Frederick County and Montgomery County Maryland.

Our owner has over 40 years of hands-on experience with residential and commercial kitchen projects and he, along with the Bright Point team, now brings that knowledge, insight, and attention to detail to residential kitchen remodeling projects. We provide this value to homeowners and partner with them to bring their vision to reality.

Bright Point procures all required permits for your project. This brings peace of mind to the homeowner knowing that the subcontractors are licensed and qualified and the work is being inspected.
Bright Point schedules the project and coordinates when all the subcontractors’ work needs to be performed. Many retailers will provide and install the cabinets and may recommend subcontractors, however, the homeowner becomes the general contractor having to deal with scheduling, permitting, and code issues.
Although our work is centered around kitchens, we also do projects such as bathrooms, additions, finish basements, and other renovations.

The Process

Dream

We meet with you at your home to listen to and understand your needs. We’ll discuss options and establish the scope of work for your dream kitchen.

Design

We will provide an initial layout showing your floor plan and proposed cabinets along with a proposal to include all work.

Realization

Once you know that all cabinets and materials are exactly how you want them, upon your approval, your dream kitchen will be off and running.

Delivery

We will proactively communicate with you during the entire project to keep you informed and make sure all your needs are met. Once complete, you can enjoy every moment living, cooking, and entertaining in your new kitchen.

We are a dealer for Kitchen Cabinet Distributors, Adornus, and Showplace Cabinetry.

Testimonies

We engaged BrightPoint Builders and John Klakamp in June 2021 to help us remodel and redesign our new home for us. The 1970’s home consisted of many small rooms and had not been upgraded at all.
